Hdfc Bnk — Forced Deduction From My Bank Account

Dear Sir/ Madam,
I have an NRE+NRO account in HDFC, Bettiah Branch, Bihar. I have always maintained the minimum balance and had a very good transaction record. Due to a financial crisis in the years 2024-25, I could not maintain the minimum balance for a couple of months. I approached the bank and asked to revoke the non-maintenance fine imposed, which is not mandatory under the RBI guidelines.
They, the HDFC officials, through their official email channels, agreed and assured me of waiving off all the dues and encouraged me to use the account, starting with depositing the minimum balance. I deposited Rs 24.000 agianst Rs 20, 000 minimum balance for the two accounts, NRE and NRO (Rs. 10, 000 for each). They deducted all my money, showing a negative otstanding fine/ balance, which is against RBI guidelines.
I informed them about the same regarding the unfair deduction, and they kept on torturing me in the name of looking into the matter. They finally agreed to return the money but returned only 3540 and started deducting the minimum balance fine from the same day. Seeing that there is a misunderstanding, I withdrew the remaining amount of Rs. 7, 363.14. I reported the same to the executive through the same channel. They assured me that they would resolve the issue, but it never happened. They returned Rs. 3540 again into my account and started deducting minimum balance fines from the same amount. In the meantime, I was in correspondence with the customer care team on Social Media, where they finally refused to return the money deducted unfairly. After seeing these months of deceit, torture, and disappointment, I reported the matter to INGRAM (Jaago Grahak Jaago). The bank lied on the platform, saying that I am again and again seeking a free refund and closed the matter from their end. I was suggested to move to this "ConsumerComplaints" platform if the resolution was not done. I am here seeking justice against the mental trauma the Bank has given to me, and the mental health issues I am suffering from their lies on the INGRAM that tarnished my self-respect and dignity.
