HDFC Life Insurance — Complaint against mis-selling of HDFC Life Assured Gain Plus Policy by false return commitment

I would like to register a complaint regarding the mis-selling of an insurance policy by representatives associated with HDFC Life Insurance.

I was contacted by **Mr. Aadesh Kulkarni** and **Ms. Priya Raikar** regarding purchasing **HDFC Life Assured Gain Plus** policy.

During the sales discussion, I was clearly informed and convinced that if I purchased this policy and continued premium payments, I would receive a maturity amount of approximately **₹24, 86, 205 after 10 years**.

Based on this commitment, I agreed to purchase the policy and paid my first annual premium of approximately **₹2, 09, 354**.

However, after carefully reviewing the official policy documents received from **HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited**, I discovered that the actual guaranteed maturity amount is significantly lower (around ₹12.71 lakh / guaranteed benefits much lower than verbally promised), and the amount presented during the sales discussion was misleading and not contractually guaranteed.

I feel I was misled into purchasing this policy based on false projections and incomplete disclosure.

My concerns are:

1. I was given incorrect / misleading maturity return expectations during sales discussion.
2. The policy benefits shown verbally do not match the official policy document.
3. I am now facing financial loss because surrender value is negligible in early years.
4. The agents who sold the policy, **Mr. Aadesh Kulkarni** and **Ms. Priya Raikar**, are no longer responding to my calls or addressing my concerns.
5. I believe this sales practice can affect other customers who may trust such false commitments.

I request investigation into this matter and appropriate action against the involved representatives.

I also request fair resolution regarding my policy because I purchased it based on misleading financial information provided during the sales process.

I am sharing this complaint so other consumers remain aware and do not face similar mis-selling practices.
