I am writing to bring to your attention the issues my son, Mr. Francis George, faced during his GAMCA Medical Test for employment in a company in the UAE.
On 18/03/2023, my son underwent the medical test at Health Care Diagnostic Center in Thiruvananthapuram, Thycaud, Panavila, as per the requirements. However, the medical report declared him unfit due to testing positive for HCV (Hepatitis C).
After the diagnosis, my son sought medical treatment for HCV+ve at Vijaya Hospital in Kottarakkara. Upon further examination conducted by the hospital, it was found that my son's HCV status was negative, and he was not infected with Hepatitis C. All tests, including the High Potentials - C (Hepatitis C), Elisa, and Eclia tests, came back negative.
This false diagnosis caused immense distress and hardship to my son, who had been eagerly preparing for employment in the UAE. It also resulted in delays and financial losses for him as he had to undergo unnecessary further high-cost medical tests based on the incorrect information provided by GAMCA.
Therefore, I humbly request your intervention in this matter to investigate and take appropriate action against the Health Care Diagnostic Center in Thiruvananthapuram for their incorrect diagnosis, which has caused mental and financial distress to my son. Furthermore, I request that you intervene with the medical center to provide the medical examination results that my son underwent. Please take necessary steps to rectify my son's medical records and provide him with the correct medical clearance to pursue his employment opportunity in the UAE.
As a last point, I would like to request proper financial compensation for my son's mental distress, financial loss, and job loss due to the false medical examination result. I trust that your prompt action in this regard will help resolve this issue and prevent similar incidents in the future.
Please find attached the necessary medical examination results, including the GAMCA appoint slip, GAMCA Medical Status report, and the Medical report from Vijaya Hospital, confirming my son's negative HCV status. I hope this information will be helpful in resolving this matter promptly.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
F Georgekutty,
