We enquired about creative writing course for kids. First they gave us misleading information about the course starting date. They asked us to submit payment first, and then said that the batch will be allotted later. As soon as we made the payment, they changed the course's starting date three times. Finally the course started in June 2023 which was 2 months after the promised date of April 2023. but that course they allotted to us was a wrong course because it was a course of adults, about things like free-lance working, portfolio creation. Then we requested refund of our payment because they had assigned us a wrong course, for which they troubled us for a more than a week, and after that they denied refund to us by saying that we are not eligible for refund (they had not informed us about their 7-day refund policy earlier). Then they allocated a new batch starting from 9th july 2023, but this batch also consists of adults and this course was also for adults free-lancing work, portfolio creation.
They have cheated us by selling us a wrong course, which is not what we had asked for our child. Then they used unfair practice of taking advance payment and delaying the starting date of the course beyond the refund-timeframe. We have been duped of Rs 12, 500 by being sold a wrong course.
We now want the refund but they are troubling us by telling us to join new batch every time, which is not what we want to do. We simply want our money back. They have not delivered the service they promised. Was this information helpful? |
