Hindustan Media Ventures Ltd — Ottplay Charged me even after asking for cancellation two days before expiry of current active plan

I have emailed OTT Play [protected]@ottplay.com on 18th March 2024 to cancel my subscription which was going to expire in 3 days on 21st March as I was unable to do it because I was not getting the cancel membership option. I also referred to the FAQs for help all in vain. They revert back with steps to follow to cancel it, which didnt work. Later on 20th March they charged me for new subscription and now they are not giving me a refund. I have emailed them and talked with customer care multiple times but they told me that they didnt have a refund policy. And now they have simply stopped responding. I wonder if a person wants to discontinue the service and told them about it before the expiry of the plan, how can they charge and deny refund? Literally scamming people to earn money and pathetic customer services. Also FAQs doesnt provide you correct steps on how to cancel auto renewal, it can be cancelled from payment service provider app, from which you have made the payment. This company wont even accept their mistake on misguiding people due to which we are not able to cancel auto renewal. The FAQ will state that you can cancel the membership two days before the expiry but still I wasn’t getting the option to cancel it and shared the screenshot as well.
My question is why faq misguide people and give wrong info and why it doesn’t mention about able to cancel auto renewal from payment service provider (eg. phonepe, googlepay) at any moment of time. If this info would have been their or even if they have shared this in an email, I wouldn’t be charged.
