Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my serious dissatisfaction regarding the ongoing issues and substandard service quality provided by your dealership at Sona Motors, Shivamogga. I purchased the above vehicle from your dealership on 20/06/2018 and had been regularly servicing it at your Mangalore outlet, where the service was exemplary.
After relocating to Shivamogga, I started servicing the vehicle at your local dealership. Unfortunately, my experience has been far from satisfactory. Despite an earlier complaint raised by me regarding improper servicing — on record with your company — the quality of service temporarily improved for a short span of time, but the same negligence and inefficiency have resurfaced.
Recent Service Issue:
On 18/06/2025, I reported a recurring sound issue while accelerating and the vehicle’s rough functioning post-service. I was told the issue was due to rain and was checked superficially. Upon their advice, I submitted the vehicle for a more thorough inspection on 21/06/2025, and reported all concerns. However, post-service and oil change, no improvement was observed, and the same issues continue.
Let me be very clear — this kind of irresponsible and negligent service from an authorized dealer of a reputed brand like Honda is unacceptable. Customers expect reliability and resolution, not excuses.
I hereby demand the following:
1. Immediate reinspection and rectification of the issues without any further excuses.
2. A written explanation for why the problems were not resolved despite the recent service.
3. Assurance of better quality and accountability in future services.
Failing which, I will be compelled to take the following actions without any further notice:
• Escalate the matter to Honda India Regional Office and Honda Customer Care Headquarters.
• File a formal complaint with the District Consumer Grievance Redressal Forum under the Consumer Protection Act.
• Highlight the issue on social platforms and auto forums to bring awareness to the service deficiencies.
I expect your immediate attention and resolution to this matter. Please treat this letter as a final intimation before legal escalation.
