I am a Bank Manager affiliated with IOB, and I had booked a Mahindra XUV 400 EV in white color on 06.12.2023, referencing your quotation number 7790 and booking number 2723.
As part of the exchange offer, I handed over my vehicle, a SCORPIO with the registration number KL 40D 4499, for an amount of Rs. 2 lakhs and twenty thousand for the exchange offer. However, despite the passage of time, I have yet to receive the new vehicle. Despite numerous attempts to contact your dealership, the responses provided were unsatisfactory. Today, on 21.12.2023, the dealer expressed their inability to deliver the vehicle.
Interestingly, other dealers such as Eram Motors from Thrissur have actively pursued my business, offering to deliver a new vehicle on the same day. Additionally, manufacturers like Honda, Toyota, and Tata have presented more lucrative exchange offers. Despite these alternatives, I chose to trust and inform them about my booking with your dealership.
Unfortunately, the recent turn of events has caused me significant financial loss and eroded the trust I had placed in your dealership. If your dealership was unable to provide the new vehicle, it would have been more appropriate to refrain from accepting my SCORPIO under the exchange offer. The entire purpose of the exchange was to secure the acquisition of a new vehicle.
In light of these circumstances, I insist on either receiving the Mahindra XUV 400 EV in white color as per the agreed-upon quotation or having my original vehicle returned to me at the earliest convenience.
I trust that you understand the urgency and importance of resolving this matter promptly. Please respond at your earliest convenience to confirm the actions you will be taking to rectify this situation.
