Schizophrenia Research Foundation (India) (SCARF) in Anna Nagar West Extension, Chennai (Worst ever hospital / Rehabilitation Center).
Having gone through all the reviews about hospital history stating that it is one of the best hospitals for Schizophernia (Mental Disorder), I came to know the we are one of the biggest fools.
My dad was admitted to the hospital because of the depression. The hospital was unhygienic. But we had greater faith towards the hospital doctors that I could get my father cured.
All hopes were in vain and waste.
We were not allowed to see him for more than a month from admission date.
Secondly they were very rude. I heard that it is a Service oriented and non profit organization. However, all the charges were applicable.
They don't show any courtesy to attenders. Very rude. The next reply is that discharge the patient if there are any questions.
They treat him very bad. We got a call after a month stating that he is serious with infections.
I was shocked by seeing my dad, bleeding all over his body with fatal drug infection. (Steven Johnson's Syndrome).
His mouth was ruined completely and sceptic. He didn't have any food for 3 days.
This was not even informed.
They will not check or test any medicine. I don't know what have they studied for 20 years doing research about the disease without even knowing the side effects of the drugs.
They will never even inform anything.
They will inform once everything is over and there is no state of recovery.
I lost my father because of their lack of attention.
Please take a complete look of the hospital and staff along with the permission to see the patients before admitting them to any psychiatric rehabilitation centers.
They could live as depressed rather than losing their lives.
Please check wether the medicine is having side effect or not especially carbemezipine drugs which have created a fatal effect on my dad.
