Hot deals Bazzar — Fraudulent sales call

Address:Mumbai City, Maharashtra

Hotdealsbazzar.com poses as a service provider for your credit card company, and claims that the sales catalogue that comes with the credit card statements are provided by them. After establishing a level of confidence using this informatio, they try to sell their special offer that includes 3D/2N fully paid holiday at select destinations, a silver bowl set, a Polo men kit, a surprise gift, meal vouchers worth Rs 2000 and a 'W' card which entitles you to 20% discount on any purchase across select stores. They ask for Credit card number, which I refused to reveal, and as an alternative, they asked me to register on the site, and purchase goods worth 7950, which I can authorize through secure payment sites. Once the funds have been procured, they sent some of the items except for the surprise gift. Here is the truth of the special deal 1. W card is mostly useful in North India (Delhi mostly). 2. The holiday voucher requires you to provide 3 days and 3 destinations one month ahead, and then you will get one of the date+venue combination. After that you have pay another Rs 1000 to confirm the reservation. This is never revealed during the sales talk. 3. The surprise gift catalogue is sent. You have to choose one of the options, scan and send to their helpline email. 4. The Polo men kit actually a FAKE New Polo men kit, with cheap quality wallet, belt, etc. After scanning and sending the surprise gift choice, they dont respond back with courier details. I have not received the item over 3 weeks now. They will not answer at their 24x7 helpline number post lunch (2 PM onwards).
