hotel victerrace — cheating by hotel

we made a booking inquiry of 1 night stay for 25th and 26th february from hotel Victerrace, gorky terrace, kolkata from hotel website at www.victerracegroupofhotels.com. After giving name and phone no. immediately we got a call from hotel. they promised a 24 hr check out time and in turn we made a booking giving 30% advance by proceeding to online payment through hotel website. we booked a deluxe room with space for 3 adults and 1 child. But on reaching the hotel, we were given a standard room with bed for 2 adults and 1 child. Since we were 2 adults with 1 child we did not ask for anything more and continued with the same room. Room ac was in very poor condition working only at full speed. We had to switch it off and on the whole night. since we had checked in at 3.30 p.m.on 25th feb, we planned to check out at 2.30p.m.on 26th feb, but at check-out the hotel staff demanded pay for 2 nights, stating that we stayed for2 hours more than checkout time of 12 noon. My husband and myself tried to explain the matter, but they did not take any responsibility of the booking or the room condition or bad ac. They harassed me, my husband and child and forced us out of the hotel and forcibly made us pay 3700 rs for 2 nights instead of 1540 rs.for 1 night as they had already got 661 rs as advance payment.
