Subject: Total Fraud & Worst Quality - Avoid House of Niav at All Costs
I am writing this to warn every consumer out there to never buy anything from House of Niav. They are running a complete scam based on false promises, zero customer service, and unwearable products.
I placed an order on September 22nd for a specific event. After waiting for two weeks with no updates, I reached out via email and website messages. I was given a series of conflicting lies: one representative said it would arrive in 4 days, another blamed the "festive rush, " and a third promised it "next week." Realizing it would not arrive in time for my event and that I would be out of town, I formally cancelled the order.
A customer care executive confirmed the cancellation was accepted. Yet, four days later, I received a notification that the order had been dispatched. When I immediately replied stating the order was already cancelled and I would not be there to receive it, they rudely told me "no refunds because it is already dispatched."
What followed was days of harassment: daily automated delivery messages with OTPs, followed by messages claiming delivery failed because I "wasn't available." When I demanded they stop this nonsense, they refused a refund and tried to force a 3-month store credit note on me. After their horrific service, I had absolutely no intention of ever buying from them again. Exhausted by the endless back-and-forth nonsense, the package was eventually accepted.
The product itself is an absolute joke and complete theft for the price:
- The fabric is incredibly thin, cheap, and poor quality.
- The stitching is horrible, with loose, unfinished threads everywhere.
- The garment is completely structurally defective: the salwar bottom cuff falls sideways instead of in the front because it was stitched incorrectly.
- They completely scrimped on the cloth, the pleats are wrong, and there is zero tailoring finishing on either the kurta or the salwar.
This brand is selling garbage fabric with terrible construction while holding consumer money hostage. There ought to be strict legal actions against such fraudulent brands. Do not waste a single rupee here.
