Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I faced during my recent travel with Air India Express from Delhi to Guwahati on 08.10.2025, under PNR P4YSTC.
I had purchased a paid seat (Seat No. 3A) for added comfort. However, I regret to inform you that the seat’s reclining mechanism was faulty and did not recline at all. I also informed the cabin crew about the issue during the flight. Furthermore, the seat’s cushioning was completely worn out, making it very uncomfortable for the entire journey.
Since I had paid an additional amount for a preferred seat to ensure comfort, I feel disappointed that the seat did not meet basic service standards. I therefore request you to kindly look into this matter and arrange for an appropriate refund or compensation for the inconvenience caused.
I hope Air India Express will take this feedback seriously and ensure that such issues are rectified for future passengers.
Thank you for your attention.
Yours sincerely,
Mukesh Kumar Jindal
