I Am Complaining — exemption from election duty

I am a govt. Employee. My name had been sent to election office for election duty from my office. The appointment letter is likely to reach to me. If the appointment letter comes to me, i will have to perform the election training and duty. I am going to retire from state govt. Service on july 2018. But in this age, may i be allowed for exemption from election duty as per rule?

Updated by gd57 Actually my present age as per office record is 59 years 9 months i.e. 60 years. Due to this age I have already been attacked with several diseases, such as high blood pressure, prostate problem, acute gastrities, nerve problems, burning sensation, ingrowing toe nails etc. etc. I am presently taking homeo medicines. In this situation I am requesting whether there is any order for exemption from election duty. What, if I not get for such order.
