IBM — Delay in passport Dispatch

respected sir,

i was applied the passport in June. Still the passport has not dispatched. When i search for Status of my application in August 10, it shows as police report clear and expected to dispatch on August 12.. But, Now when i tried it shows as expected to dispatch with in one week.. So, please provide the provision for me for to Dispatch my passport ASAP..

Please Dispatch my passport .. In the internet when i searched my passport status in 20-aug-2008, it shows as passport dispatch delayed, it will dispatch in a week's time.

Please understand the situation and dispatch the passport as early as possible..

I have applied for Passport in the General Post Office Abids Hyderabad, and one and Half month back my Application has been verified by the Police Authorities, But still I did not recieve my Passport, And when i tried to check for the passport status in the website it is not showong the status
As i work for IBM-INDIA PVT LTD Hyderabad, It's very Urgent and Mandate to submit my passport screen details to the Hr of the company.So i request you to please take action on this and help me in getting my passport as earlier, And Help me in this Regard

As I have lost my original PAN card, I have placed the request for duplicate card on 08-Apr-2008 through NSDL in hyderabad. Acknowledgement Number:[protected]. Online status is showing 'Your application for 'New PAN Card or/and Changes or Correction in PAN Data' is under process at Income Tax Department'. All the details given are correct, but still haven't received the PAN card. They have not asked me for FIR. My parents are staying in Hyderabad so they will be able to receive it when dispatched.
I need the PAN card urgently, please suggest me how do I go further. Earlier I have applied through UTITSL on 26-Feb-2007, Coupon no is:[protected], even then no use. I feel sympathy for you. However, you should not have given up so easily. You should have appealed against your rating, and forced your manager to explain why you got a low rating. You could have also used the "Open Door" and "Confidentially Speaking" programs, if you felt your upline manager was not taking you seriously.

Your last paragraph makes me seriously worried. Even if your performance was poor, they have no right to treat you like a criminal. For God's sake, you have human rights, dude.

If I were in your position, I would put it all my efforts to fight it out with my manager, and make it a matter of personal prestige to get my manager dismissed. It could not get worse than you losing your job. If you losing your job is inevitable, you might as well take down your manager with you.

That is the spirit with which you should fight this evil. By the way, I am an IBM employee too.

I strongly agree. I was interviewed twice. First time, I was made waited for 2 hrs and after 2 hrs I was told that my profile does not match with their requirement. In 2 nd interview, I almost reached till salary negitiation and after 2-3 days they gave me the same reason and rejected me. [censored]rs!! They play with people's valuable time.

The appeal process is extremely lengthy and the resolution almost always favor the management despite strong evidence for the appealant.

Let me share my experience with IBM. I discovered that I was unfairly paid by the company (IBM) and launch a complaint with the management. I was paid @ a pay of nearly 1/2 of others within the team, while during my stay, I am responsible to coach, lead, and assist other team members because they are less capable in the area of our work, that is on top of projects that I initiated and completed and my regular responsibilities which is exactly the same as others.

I launch a complaint with the management and until the last day of my stay with IBM, I never heard any sort of explanation from them. I left the company out of frustration.

To all of those to aspires to work for IBM, I am telling you from experience, IBM today is just a modern day sweat shop. It is no longer the IBM that was more than 25 years ago.

I fully agree with the above statements. Today, unemployment is a major situation in our country. Now, specially the BPO industries are playing this cheat game. Alongwith, there are certain placements who just to gather their money cheat people. In BPO companies too, for example, in Capita, Respondez, Globeop(Malad, Mumbai), Willis and other financial BPOs in Mumbai cheat people. We need to wait for hours for the interview and then atlast we receive a red signal i.e. not been shortlisted or we will discuss your profile with our manager. Then, there is no feedback from their end inspite of calling them several times, either they are not on their desk or whatever may be the reason. They give a vague reason for not attending the call. This also happens in TCS- Mumbai. These HR people bluff and they don't have any process. This is all about India. The ministers are cheat. Now, these people also cheat... Where to go??? Whom should we discuss our issue that India is not providing us employment, so please do you have any vacancies to provide us??????? Living in this country is a hell for us now, because o[censored]nemployment. They keep us hanging for days and months. I have many such victims who are still suffering this problem o[censored]nemployment. Indian government cannot take any stern action against these HRs. The male administration is so corrupted... and then your country (India) talks about development, a growing country. First, see your country's development, still today rural areas are left unturned or no development even the basic civic amenities. To grant them employment is a great deal and too far for Indian government... Indian government doesn't have that much power in her to provide them employment opportunities. Before going to rural areas, first try to develop urban areas-metropolitan cities specially Mumbai... and then you hell people comment on other country... First, see your is burning... then try to pin point on other's ...

If the government reads this, then they should realise their limitations and loopholes, specially I am advising BPO and other company HRs of India to read this
message and then try to implement this... If still not then you Indians should be ashamed of you and your country...

Now, if you are a consumer court then decide to initiate an immediate action of the below mentioned companies in civil dress. Please do not provide your identity and walk in these companies to check and see how people are sitting for the interview to earn their bread and how are they thrown off... I would request to send your person to the below mentioned companies.

1. TCS - Mumbai - Vikhroli and Goregaon
2. Willis - Vikhroli - Mumbai
3. Capita - Vikhroli and Saki Naka - Technology Park - Mumbai
4. Respondez - Vashi, Navi Mumbai - Raghuleela Mall- a very very corrupted company
5. Globeop - Malad - Interface building - 11th Floor.
6. Syntel - Airoli - Mindspace and Malad-Mindspace
7. Intelenet - Malad
8. XL Dynamics - Mahape, Ghansoli, Millenium Park, Navi Mumbai - One more fake company dealing for mortgage process.

These above companies specially Capita and TCS provide fake reasons... Many people go everyday and sit for the interviews, but no response, then unemployed search and search for jobs...

Therefore, I would expect you to take stern action against the above companies... if really India needs to be developed...

BPO Companies — Unemployment

Hi All,

I am writing down this complaint against the BPO companies who cheating people by not granting them jobs.

Now, today this is a very common habit or tendency in many of the BPO companies that when you come for an interview, people need to sit for long hours and wait until the HR person comes. After waiting for a long time, then 1 round in conducted mostly in companies have PI or HR round. Then, some companies in this round only reject many candidates and tell them to apply after 6 months or a year.

Now, I don't understand what is the logic of making people sit and then these people send the job descriptions and emails on our email address. After doing so, we people need to come to their places and wait for long long hours for the interview.... We waste our time, energy and money (the most important valuable thing). We need to spend tickets and come to these stupids and then they don't respond even properly.

Why are they doing so???????? Are they teasing the unemployed people?????? If in our place they would come and apply for the job, then how would they feel if someone from us would have rejected them?????????

This BPO industry is making people a fool...... First of all, either they don't have any vacancies or they just bluff with us and secondly they reject us, just collecting the CVs.
Then, we need to hog here and there taking our CVs for jobs...

Will this condition ever improve or not???????? Please help us in the situation.....
I am one of those victims who is raising this cry........ I do have a list of companies i.e. BPOs who are related with all such activities........

Waiting for your reply on urgent basis. I would appreciate if you could take a stern and strict action against these BPO HRs......

I tried so many times to that number,It is ringing,but none of them are lifting the phone.

IBM India Private Limited — Residential Address printed instead of Permanent Address

I am Dineshchandra Singh Nongmaithem, recently I received my passport. Now I am staying in a rented house, and I applied this passport from this house address. But I have provided both Residential as well as permanent addresses in the application form. Now I found that Residential Address is printed instead of Permanent Address in the passport. Please suggest me how to change this in minimum possible days.

Fake Company

HI I joined IBM and i lost my job... those people are issuing fake documents,

I was working with Aviva Life Insurance and I left the organization in June 2008, but have’nt received my PF settlement. So, I personally applied for withdrawal of my PF amount from Wazirpur Delhi, but it has been six months that I have not received any communication from the PF office and as I am residing in Kolkata so it is becoming very difficult for me to make regular follow up. My PF no. is DL/25803/7508. Can anyone suggest me a better way to recover my money.
