i am students who got through ICFAI college hyderabad for MBA and had no option to pay their hard earned 80000 bucks to ICFAI authorities before they could wait for any other college result to come out.

As we all know, that ICFAI has clearly stated that these 80K bucks are non-refundable .there has been a circular issued by HRD ministry that has ordered all the institutes coming under UGC grant and AICTE to refund the remaining...

I have applied for HSBC credit card and submitted required documents. Several times I got phone calls on my mobile and to my office for verification. But "what is the status of my application weather it is accepted or rejected. If accepted when can I expect my card". No one clarified me on this doubt.

I had paid off a huge amount of 80, 000 for the pre-MBA courseware fee for the MBA course[protected]. But i had planned not to join. I called them couple of times asking them if they could refund the amount because AICTE rules cite that "refund the remaining fee after deducting only 1000 Rs out of the Admission fee if the student is willing to withdraw his/her candidature before the classes begin."
But they are not willing...

One is MBA from ICFAI Deheradun university another PGDBA from ICFAI university Hyderabad.

I enrolled for MCA program.
I have cleared total course fees of Rs.54, 000/- and I have got
money receipt of that. Now I don't continue the program and I

I submitted my application for flexible MBA programme on 19th January 2007 after getting verbal assurance from the Kolkata office of Icfai that I will be made eligible to appear for April 2007 exmainination as there was scope for a job in an IT company if I am enrolled for MBA programme and pass my first examination in April 2007. Along with my applicable I paid Rs.10, 000 in cash and 18 post dated cheques. I received my study...

I applied for ICFAI Executive program by submitting my application to their Kochi, Kerala office. I paid Rs 20,000/- as initial payment and gave them 15 post dated cheques worth Rs 9750/- each. This was on 18th of Dec 07. I was told that confirmation of my admission would be sent to me only by Jan 08.

After two days, I got an offer due to which I was sure that I could not complete the course as it included mandatory visit...

Withdrawing from the ICFAI course is a pain. I had issued 18 PDCs and have already paid 13 PDCs...only 5 PDCs are remaining now.

I had issued stop payment to the PDC after sending an email to them requesting I want to discontinue from the course.

Now, even after I'm saying I will settle the remaining amount and want to withdraw from the course, SSD department (ICFAI) is not responding...

I joined ICFAI with dreams of doing MBA.. as every one else... At first there use to be just Rs800.00 fee per exam(2papers). Exams were objective... Only first 2 papers were meaningful... after which every two months they started increasing registration fees. First of all during admission councelling, 1) They gave me all false information that they had tie up with many nationalised banks which provide study loan to all inc students but no banks are interested to pay study loan to INC and there is no tie up with any banks. 2) They had experienced facaultys as well as better visiting faculties for all subjects to be taught in 2 years but no experience facaulty are available for any subject rather...

I have enrolled myself for MBA by paying 10000 bucks. To make the rest of payment I selected EMI. However dus to some some personal reason I am not in postion to make the rest of the payment. SO I asked ICFAI guys what is the alternate. but they said as they have Post Dated Checque so I need to make the payment on time. Else I will come in trouble.

I joined the M.S.(Finance) programme from ICFAI four months back, and was having exams scheduled in jan 08. I couldn't get the books of a particular subject for which i requested a number of times . Neither the local branch at jalandhar nor their tripura office responded positively. The executives who use to call me up daily before enrollment now started escaping my calls. Hi Dear

I am sorry to read you post that you had a bad experience with ICFAI but at the same time I will suggest you not to take your personal experience to public which only shows that you were not able to handle the pressure that any world class MBA program puts on students.

I know MBA from ICFAI is not a cakewalk but then this fact is known by everyone in corporate world also which gives ICFAI MBA a good brand...
