Mail received on 6th Aug by Simran Sharma (Employee ID 8785115)
Indeed) from contact number (+91 [protected]) and they ask for documents, Fess and even still not disclosed the position of job role. Totally fake and fraud. Some Red Flages points as follows.
1. Application fee – Legitimate companies (especially established ones like KTC Group in Singapore) never ask candidates to pay money (₹1, 800 here) for recruitment, interviews, visas, or recruitment codes. This is the biggest giveaway.
2. Too-good-to-be-true offer – Salary of SGD 7, 900/month (~₹4.8 lakh) plus family accommodation, education for children, and full benefits, without even a proper interview yet, is unrealistic.
3. Document request – Asking for passport scans, degree certificates, salary slips, vaccination certificate right away is method scammers use to collect sensitive data for identity theft.
4. Unprofessional details –
The sender claims to be from Indeed, but Indeed does not send offers directly.
The company name "KTC Group" is real in Singapore (they’re in construction), but scammers often misuse real company names.
Phrases like “pay application fee to generate recruitment code” and “refund within 24 hours” are not how real HR teams operate.
5. No official domain – A real KTC Group HR email would come from a corporate domain (e.g., @ktcgroup.com.sg), not Gmail/other addresses.
👉 Conclusion: This is a fraud job scam. Do not send any documents, do not transfer any money, and report the email as spam/phishing.
