I had booked a Mysore Ooty 1n 2d package (luxury) from seabirdtourists.com for 1st nov 2013 with ticket number 1579776.
On the website it was written that we will be provided "2+2, Volvo Semi Sleeper, AC, Video". After booking ticket on my ticket it was written that i will be travelling through "2+2, Seater, Non-AC, Video (40 seats)" and if we will cancel the ticket we will get cash coupons instead of money back.(http://www.seabirdtourists.com)
As per the ticket, we will start at 6am from Bangalore, but it started around 9.
AC was not working in the bus we have been given and finally in Mysore it broke down before we visited Vrindaban garden. They shifted us to a 20 seater minibus, in which a person with my height can’t sit it was hurting my knees (we have been promised 2+2 volvo AC semi sleeper). We traveled in the same bus for 2 hrs.
Next day morning we are suppose to start for Ooty at 7:15AM but we started around 8:30 that’s too in a similar kind of 20 seater mini bus, which was not comfortable at all.
Again the bus broke down (gear box broke down in a hill station) in Ooty and we were waiting at the same place for around 3 hrs in the same place for another bus without allowing us to go nearby for lunch.
Finally a bus arrived and took us to botanical garden around 4:45PM and we were asked to return by 5:30PM after visiting garden, having lunch and also shopping, and there was no hotel available near garden for having lunch.
We returned around 5:45PM and started to Bangalore in the minibus.
But to our surprise in Mysore bus stop they stopped the bus and made us travel in the normal KSRTC bus to Bangalore telling us that the bus again broke down and no other KSRTC buses available from Mysore at that time (whereas we could see a deluxe bus and a Volvo bus also started from Mysore at same time).
When I called the number ( [protected]) given by them, complaining about our situation (3 times). That person was having fun and was telling us "wait there we will send a sumo and u can come relaxing in that" and never called back. This is the way they treat us in night around 11 PM, and I was accompanied by my wife.
I have been cheated throughout the journey and never got what I was promised and I have paid my money for. I want my money back as I had booked for "2+2, Volvo Semi Sleeper, AC, Video" and what I got is normal 20 seater minibus and normal KSRTC bus.

agency. We were cheated by this sea bird agency in the entire trip. whatever they said they have not given good
service for the money paid to them. We were unsatisfactory with everything starting from the buses, hotel
accommodation, sight seeing. Every where they try to optimize and try to earn more and not given good service to us.
The hotels where they have given accommodation they are run by some local rowdies. What they say, we need to
accept.
They don't consider any of our request. They will be keep on telling what they want to say to us. Sometimes it is
like an order. There is no hot water available in the hotels. No fan . TV was not functioning. Toilet is not good.
Flush was not working. Food is not good. They gave accommodation in third rated/cheap hotels where you can not
expect
hospitality. We stayed in Preethi Palace in OOty. The manager is a rowdy.
He has given us the last seats ( we are all ladies) to travel from ooty to kodaikanal. We said them it is difficult
for us to travel in the last seats on the wheels. he never cared about anything. And those last seats also some
passengers have cancelled their trip, that they want to give us to optimize and to earn more money in KSTDC bus(
again there is a tie up with KSTDC). The entire trip ( 11 hours) We were standing and travelled . We were unable to
sit in the last seat because of the bus was climbing the mountain .It was inducing vomiting sensation. It was
painful. At one time, I felt giddiness and holding the rod in the bus in standing. There was no safe travel.
If we complain anything, they shout at us and they will threaten us, you cancel your trip and go back. They won't
refund us our money. Once we have given to these guys, we have to forget money and in return we have to loose our
respect, peace of mind, health.
The hot water is available for bathing only from morning 6.30 to 7.30 Am. Once you travel and reach the hotel, we
feel we need to wash our face atleast. The water was so chill in the tour places ( ooty and kodainanal), it was
difficult to wash the faces.
On the whole, totally it was an unforgettable horrible experience. No one should experience this bad experience.
That's the reason I have shared my experience. Beware all these things before you plan your tour with this cheating
agencies. They are making money with other inconveniences, dissatisfaction and unhappiness.
In kodaikanal, the pillar rock and the green valley view has to be seen between 8.00 am to 10.00 am, otherwise mist
will be formed and nothing can be seen after 10.00 am. The sight seeing driver/guide has taken us there after 11.30
Am, we could not see anything. It is a waste trip. When we have complained the driver, he said I have taken you
here, that's all my job. This is the level of commitment they have.
Our bus departure time to destination ( Bangalore) was at 7.00 pm in the evening. The sight seeing driver had shown
his urgency in everything and had completed the sight seeing at 1.00 pm ( afternoon) only and left us on the
road.And said that you do other sight seeing if you have interest otherwise bus stand is nearby. you can take a walk
and the reach the bus stand. And more cleverly, the local tour organiser met us in the hotel has informed us that
vacate the hotel room before go for sight seeing and put your luggage in our office which is near to bus stand,
after sight seeing you can take your luggage. The sight seeing driver left us on the road at 1.00 PM ( afternoon)
and from 1.00 pm to 7.00 pm we waited in the bus stand only with the luggage.
