Indian Army — Fraud and cheating

Address:NO 70,RAMAKRISHNA NAGAR 1ST MAIN RD, WEST VELACHERY, Chennai

Dear Sir

I would like to bring to your kind notice that a person claimed to be an army man Naik Randip Singh (submitted his ID) contacted me by seeing the advertisement and said that he is coming on transfer to Bangalore and that he wanted my ground floor portion for rent. He has sent his ID proof- aadhaar card, pancard for verification. He said that his boss from army would transfer 50% as advance for the rented portion and after his arrival he would pay another 50%. Later there was another gentle man who spoke to me informing that he was his boss and wanted to transfer the amount through paytm. During the discussion there were some details that was shared and somehow during the process he insisted that I first transfer the amount to his paytm and later he would transfer the amount back to me through paytm. It was Rs.24, 999. (Rupees twenty four thousand nine hundred and ninety nine only) Immediately I realized it was a suspicious transaction and informed paytm and also the bank. But unfortunately these people have taken the money. I can share the details of the transaction that was made through paytm. I would like to bring to your notice and this transaction took place on 21st of May. I am sharing the Aadhaar id, Pan id and his army id.

This I felt is fraud and they have cheated me. Hence I am bringing it to your notice and I would request you please verify and take necessary action. You can ask them to (refund) transfer the money back to my account. Even today (27th May ) I spoke to Naik Randip Singh and he said that he will ask his boss to transfer the amount back to my account, but till now nothing has happened.

The suspicious mobile numbers and the 3 persons who spoke to me are:
Randip Singh - [protected]
Dharmendra - [protected]
Manish Srivastava – [protected]

If you need any further details please contact me.

The exact same thing happened to me with the same alias (Naik Randip Singh).
They called me too, new number [protected] (claiming to be Randip) the mobile number money to be transfed to[protected] mob [protected] Hemraj Mina, recived 1 Rs from[protected] mob [protected] Dhaniram Adiwasi and from[protected] mob [protected] Dhaniram Adiasi.
Same happened with me today. Fortunately I verified his Ids over internet and got to know of this fraud before any money transfer.
He call me too and ask me to share bank details but I check on google and found he is fraud man.
I got this call today only. This time he says he is from Assam and has a family of three. His True caller details show the location is correct. Without even visiting the property, he is so keen in taking it on rent. The same story of his boss paying the advance over UPI. I got suspicious when I got a similar kind of call a week back, again from Assam and from a subedar named Nandji singh. My suspicion grew stronger when the former person wrote his name as Randeep, while all his identity cards bear the name Randip. I am fortunate that I googled out the details before being duped.
However, I feel, it is a case of identity theft, where the name and the details of an army personnel is compromised. I request the Indian Army to look into this matter as he has duped people of lakhs of money, ( I could see from other shared stories of the same person in the internet. )

whoever is looking for Randip Singh Nayak can contact on this number...[protected] he called me multiple times today 7th June 2022 for rent..Lets catch this conman. This phone is active now..one can trace his location and catch him.
