We fell into the trap of a guy who impostered himself to be from indian army. We posted an item in olx which is where it started. He imposteterd himself to be from indian army and wanted to buy our product using an online payment.
He sent a qr code which when we scanned it using phone pe showed it is to pay and not to receive. When we asked him on the same thing he said we would be credited double which he demonstrated with 5₹.
Reluctantly we thought of trying it out which is clearly our mistake, and we tried it for an amount of 13899₹. Although he insisted that if we try again we would receive the same, we decided to stop it there fortunately.
Two aspects of my complaint
1. There could be some fools like us, whom we want to keep you aware and not fall into such traps
