I wish to file a consumer complaint against the following online shopping websites:
1. https://indianweddingoutfit.com/
2. https://lehengabazaar.co.in/
I placed two separate orders on these websites for ethnic wear, one for a sharara set and another for a saree. Both websites appeared legitimate at the time of purchase.
However, upon delivery, I discovered that the products received were completely different from what was advertised. Both orders contained clothing made from the same cheap-quality material and featuring the same design, despite being ordered as two different products from two separate websites.
The products delivered did not match the advertised items, and the quality was significantly inferior to what was represented on the websites. I paid for the orders through UPI.
I subsequently attempted to contact the sellers to request returns and refunds. However, they have not been responding to my calls and are refusing to accept returns or provide a satisfactory resolution.
I believe I have been misled by the product listings on these websites and have suffered financial loss as a result. The fact that both websites delivered essentially the same product despite separate orders is particularly concerning.
I request the National Consumer Helpline to look into this matter and assist me in obtaining a **full refund for both orders**. I also request appropriate action to be taken against these sellers for misleading product representations and their failure to address legitimate consumer grievances.
I can provide order confirmations, UPI payment proofs, screenshots of the advertised products, photographs of the items received, and evidence of my attempts to contact the sellers.
I request your assistance in resolving this matter and protecting other consumers from similar experiences.
