This is with regard to an order placed on June 3rd 2016:[protected]
They made me pay through netbanking, claiming that there were some issues with their online payment portal, and then confirmed the order and payment as well. While placing the order, it was confirmed that the order is shipped within 7 working days and will reach me within that month.
However, it has been over 2 months, and I still haven't received my order. They just keep shooting emails with some or the excuse for delay in procuring, dispatching, and what not.
This is the second time I am facing this issue with this website, and this is undoubtedly my worst online shopping experience ever (even after comparing with Korean and Chinese websites, which are known to delay delivery of products to India).
This organization is a fraudulent one, and I am surprised to see that it is a venture of a well-known organization such as NDTV.
I hope the concerned authorities make sure that their operations and the website is shut owing to the tremendous complaints and the pain and frustration this website has caused to so many people out there. It is experiences like these that make people lose faith in even other honest online shopping portals.
Also, of note, this is the only online shopping portal with no telephonic customer service support. They have kept a fake number on their website, which also adds to the stress and frustration of a customer who puts in their hard-earned money and valuable time in making a purchase from a fraudulent organization's website such as Indianroots.
Please help me retrieve my money stuck with these fraudsters.
