I, vikas anand, resident of 411, siena, mahagun mascot, crossing republic, gahaziabad, 201016, have admitted my daughter adwitya gupta in class ukg section green in the month of april 2016. I have submitted a cheque for the school's donation which is taken in different names like infrastructure development and some other names. Apart from that i have taken books and dress by paying separately.
Due to my and my wife's work, i had to shift to gurgaon. The work i got in gurgaon was after admitting my daughter. If i would have know for the new work coming only in gurgaon, i would not have taken the admission.
I requested the school management to refund some of the donation as i have to again pay donation in new school in gurgaon to take fresh admission. But today, i have received the decision of the school that i won't get the refund for the donation. I would only get rs. 2000 which was security deposit. The reason is that my child has gone to the school for a month to that school.
We parents pay a good amount as donation while admitting our child in school, then if something happens due to unknown circumstances, school just wants to keep all our hard earned money.
I won't be saying that refund all but you can keep some amount as penalty but please don't behave like once the amount is deposited in your account, parents should completely forget about that.
I don't know how many parents might have faced this, but is it not a weird rule or management's trap idea to loot the parents?
Resolution is to get 75% of the donation back so that i can use the same in new school to get my child admitted.
I don't know if the way of complaining on this site is correct, if there is any error or i should include more info, please guide me.
