Was brought here by my « government-licensed » temple guide. The store/ Madurai Art Gallery is located steps from UNESCO world heritage site Meenakshi Temple. It contains beautiful art, artefacts, antiques, fine silks etc. They switched the antique bronze items purchased and replaced them with cheap knock offs when packaging. The manager « Imran Khan » is a smooth talker. I will warn tour dust in line: « DO NOT SHOP here. » Was this information helpful? |
