Sir/Madam, With much pain and regret I have to state this issue as a courtesy for my fellow Doctors and trainees and also for all who are suppose to come for the training in this institute . The full name of this institute is Dr Randhawa’s Institute o[censored]ltrasound Training, situated in Janakpuri West, #511-512, Westend Commercial Complex, New Delhi 110058, Contact details [protected], [protected],[protected].
It was on 13th of March 2020, I have deposited 90000₹ which is 50% of the total course on account of PG Diploma in Sonography ( Obs and Gynae ) which is schedule for the 1st April 2020 batch . However, due to Covid 19 Pandemic, the institute has to remained closed till further notice and this institute remained shut throughout the year 2020. It was unfortunate for me and the Institute to remain shut and also I have miss the opportunity in the year 2020, but lately I realised that this institute is not approved by the UGC as proclaimed by the institute saying that Certification will be provided after the completion of Course from The Global Open University Nagaland. This proclamation needs to be throughly investigated because this may mislead many people if found not approved by The Global Open University Nagaland and this University may also be question whether they provide such Diploma course in Sonography ? This is a serious matter if found guilty .
I am also surprise to see that This Institute mention above doesn’t have their proper Website.
Nevertheless, I have requested them to refund my money on 17th March 2021 citing the reason that I am not available for the course due to such long halt i.e almost 1 year due to Pandemic. I have even requested to consider refund of my money with minimal deduction of 10 % from the amount 90000₹ in view of Trying times Covid 19 Pandemic. But the institute bluntly rejected my plea and they have deducted 45000₹ as deduction fees citing their Rules and Regulation. I am enclosing the money receipt and censoring my name for personal reasons.
My query and demand for the institute are as follows:
1) Is this institute recognised by any UGC?
2) Is certification from The Global Open University legal ?
3) Is This institute an authorised institution to provide Diploma in Sonography ?
4) Refund my money 100% i.e 90000₹ without any further deduction .
I therefore, request the concern team to investigate regarding the same as early as possible. This may be a Courtesy for me and for many people who are yet to come .
