I am filing this formal complaint against Intellipaat Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. regarding an explicit breach of contract and the wrongful withholding of my admission seat securing deposit.

During the admissions process, representatives from the institute pressured me to lock in a seat. They explicitly assured me that if I cancelled the registration, I would receive an 80% refund of the deposit amount after a 20% administrative deduction. Relying on this policy commitment, I deposited ₹10, 000 as the seat securing fee.

I subsequently submitted a formal cancellation request on 17 August 2026. Per their contract terms, I am legally owed a refund of ₹8, 000. However, the company has completely violated its own policy. They have dragged out the timeline, ghosted my support tickets, and refused to return my funds.

This constitutes a clear Deficiency of Service and an Unfair Trade Practice under the Consumer Protection Act. The company is using false refund assurances as a predatory mechanism to extract upfront money from prospective students.

Desirable Solution Sought - I request this platform to direct Intellipaat to immediately release my contractually obligated refund of ₹8, 000 to my original payment source, along with additional Rs 8000/- for the delay and harassment caused.
