[Resolved]  Interior Point — Faulty funiture, bad/no service

I had bought the sofa set from Interior point in 2013 June. Since it was under warranty of 3 years. Problem 1: After about 3 months o[censored]se, the cushioning were displaced, and it protruded outwards. I had to repeatedly call them to get it fixed, make visits to their shop. It took me about 2 months to get this things fixed. So, the service they provided was pathetic. Problem 2: After another 3 months o[censored]se, same problem repeated with the piece they fixed, and also another piece. The problem started in Feb/2014. I have been following up with them last 2 months, but no one has turned up to fix the issue. I totally agree with you.
Mr. Kapadia a great sales man while luring you into buying his furniture, he gives you the number of his handy man Muzaffar who is supposed to be your contact point who hardly picks up his phone. They delayed my deliver by 1.5 months and when it was delivered it was not what was ordered. The cushions were wrong, the sofa was not made according to the specifications given and the price paid. It took them nearly 20 days to just do the rectifications and one can not even bare the pain i went through. Through this entire time their outlook of treating customers can only be described as pity-full and disrespectful. They can only be called scamsters... if you have read this review you are lucky as these guys are at all the major furniture expos in Mumbai to lure you into their trap. Be ware!!!
True...PATHETIC SERVICE, No response on phone and still awaiting the delivery as the commitment date has already slided long ago...
Have purchased furniture around 2.5 lakhs. It's been 4 month now but still they didn't delivered the furniture and didn't finished there work. Very bad service . Repeatedly calling the person he is not answering the phone .
I[censored] guys can't complete the order on time then why u guys take the order. ...

Fooling Customers by supplying Second Hand Furniture for Price of New One.

Interior Point is a pathetic furniture store at Motilal Nagar-2 Goregaon Malad Link Road.

We Purchased a Sofa Set and Centre table from Nesco Exhibition Centre in Goregaon on Sunday, 13th December 2015 through their Part Time Sales Person Devang Doshi. During purchase, we were given following promises
1. The person will visit your place in 2 days to take measurement.
2. The Sofa will be customized as per your requirement.
3. The delivery will be done in 20 days from date of Payment.

Everything was possible during the time of booking.

Since the payment of advance we have faced a terrible time with them with respect to their rude behavior, vague reasons and irresponsible supplies.

1. After following up regularly, after 10 days their person Mr. Majid had come to take the measurement on 22nd December 2015. We had informed that payment will be made once we finalize the sofa upholstery. Mr. Majid then informed that only after the payment is made we will start work not otherwise. Now we were told to discuss with Mr. Shahid. Mr. Shahid was hardly avaialble on phone to pick up and discuss and for any discussion payment was first priority.

2. We required to finalize the upholstery. We went all the way to Goregaon from Chembur to choose. On visiting they provided us couple of books from their rack. There were a few designs which we liked. On choosing those designs we were told that it will cost extra. We choose from their fabric given and made the part payment on 1st January 2016 and decided to do balance payment on delivery.

3. We were told that the sofa set will be ready in 20 days i.e 20th January. However, after constant follow-up we received the furniture on 30th January 2016 i.e.30 days. On delivery again the delivery person and Mr. Shahid fighting that furniture will be placed in the house only on total payment. We made the payment.

4. On receiving the furniture, we checked the same and found out that the material used for the sofa and centre table was extremely low quality wood and chipped from the legs and other places. It was just assembled and not specially made for us.We informed them to which we got a reply that it must have happened in transportation, which is their responsiblity to carry out safe transportation of a new product.

5. We argued with them for hours and they said that it might be they will send a person to rectify the errors. The person arrived after 10days on 7th February. We agained complained regarding the quality of product to which we understood from his person Mr. Rafeeq that it is a regular practice they use with other customers also and centre table delivered was directly shipped after using at two exhibitons which means they supplied second hand product.

6. We told them we will not acccept the centre table if the same is not freshly made for us. For which Mr. Shahid was disagreeing but finally he accepted that we will collect it and make a fresh one and give it back after a week.

7.During the constant payment followup we understood that their only aim was to get money so the customer is left with no choice other than giving in. However we had no option but to carry on with the relationship with them as we had made the payment.

8. We received the product on 06th March 2016 again after regular follow up. This time they sent back the same material and changed the cushion covers. The delivery person was again asking for payment for delivery.

They are just trying to fool the customers with taking the payment.

Horrible service!! Very similar experience. Booked for and paid advance during Nesco exhibition in January 2017.

Majid is a sweet-talker. Only until full money paid. Thereafter, doesn't even pick calls.

After almost 2 months, furniture delivered. At 11pm at night (it "was loaded" in a tempo, to be delivered previous day morning 11am).

The guy to assemble was sleepy, and since hammering work was to be done, it was agreed that he would come back next morning.

It is now 3 days, and the furniture is lying in the un-assembled state...

And Majid is either not picking calls, or when he picks, says he will call back. Which has of course, he doesn't.

Total mess!

We were expecting visitors, who we now have to lodge in a hotel. At unnecessary cost and undue embarrassment!
Very very poor service. Delivered sofaset 12o clock at night??? Promises are totally fake. Never go again with this company. It should banned.
Humble request, do not fall prey to these scamsters. All the thinks that I have been facing is listed above in all the complaints. Interior Point near Poisar depot, pathetic service with no response to customer at all... Specially Mr Mateen, does not even know the way of talking to a customer ...on asking for the changes that were promised while booking, he says "Aisa hi milega, change ka alag paisa lagega. Aise hi sab ko thodi change karke denge". Also tried talking to the owner Mr. Anwar Shaikh, no response..

Surely will try to make these ppl go through a bad time...
Horrible experience with Interior Point in Goregaon. Like many who have already written in details about their experience, we had exactly the same issue. They have no professionalism. When you will go to their showroom, you will see fantastic products but when they actually deliver the product, it is of very poor quality.

Our contact person was Mr. Shahid. Most of the time his phone would be unreachable and hence follow up was a challenge for us. We ordered a storage based sofa. Though we got the product on time yet the craftsmanship was super bad and there was no box. After enquiry with the carpenter who made the product, it was discovered that he was not informed abt the box. After several rounds of disagreement and visits, Mr Shahid arranged for furniture pick but this time it took them more than 10 days to deliver the product.

I ignored the reviews that I read about Interior Point and suffering because of that. I would request everyone to not buy furniture from Interior Point. There are several other furniture shops in Gurgaon and Borivali which you can prefer.
One of the worst companies i have ever come across...they promised one thing during the times expo exhibition in Mumbai last year (2017), booked an order collected 50% amount and then made a different design ( and that too with very poor finishing with cracks in several places) and till today (august 2018) trying to convince me to take the wrong goods but refusing to refund the money. Their marketing guy ( Mr.Jalees ) took an order from us based on a design we approved and collected an advance of Rs20000 on the spot during the exhibition to book the order, their production guy (Mr. Tanveer) had no idea which was the design and even after i shared it with him he did not inform me that the same design cannot be made. After they made the goods i check and see that they have made something else. Now it has been 10 months they either do not respond to my messages, say they are too busy or that i was informed that the design that we finalised cannot be made exactly and now after 10 months they ask me what is the issue after i have explained it to them so many times. We tried to speak with the owner (Mr. Anwar ) and he just redirected us to Mr. Tanveer who still denies that they made the wrong design. Instead Mr. Anwar sent us a legal notice saying we are not taking the goods and not responding to them. After my lawyer replied to their notice and shared with them my whole whatsapp transcript of about 90 whatsapp messages exchanged where i kept asking them to either resolve the problem or refund the money, now Mr. Jalees has bothered to call us and asks that we find a middle ground but still does not want to refund the money for their mistakes and all the harassment caused over 10 months. I am now in the process of taking further legal action with this company and also going to publish it so more people are aware of these kind of crooks.
Unfortunately it is too late but today when i checked online i see several other customers have had similar bad experiences with this company. I am forced to give one star to publish this review otherwise they do not deserve anything.. they deserve to be banned from all exhibitions and their license should be cancelled. Please stay away from interior point no matter what, these people are wolves in sheeps clothing
the staff here fooled my brother and father at an expo at BKC organized by vijay sales jan 2019.The staff said they would come to the house make a digital layout of the house and send a plan along with furniture suggestions for the apartment post discussing the budget and preferences. Instead he came home took dimensions of the apartment charged Rs.2000 then just sent us an invoice of random furniture without any images, plan layout or budget consultation.After we kept following up for the acknowledgment of the rs.2000 he has sent us a random receipt with no explanation of the charge.If you dont refund the money or send me a detailed plan along with a consultation after returning the extra 1000 your staff took, i will make sure to take this matter further up.
