I bought an iPhone 16 for my dad from iNvent Faridabad store. It was 8:55pm the store was about to close, shutters already half way. When I reached home and started setting up the phone, I realised there is slight bump in the phone. The phone was not taken out of the box. And the bump was not easily noticeable.
I tried to text them around 1030pm the same night that I have received a faulty phone. The next day I went to the store and then the store told me to go to service centre taking no responsibility of the phone. And telling me I must have bent it. The person who sold the iphone to me couldnt himself identify the bend. The service centre were closed due to Sunday, and yesterday when I visited it the guy from the store asked me to get faulty written on the job sheet to which they didn't comply.
All in all, I went to the store again requesting them to change it that I bought it from physical store paying extra money. The guy from the store knows that its a genuine case but doesn't want to help. It has been a terrible experience and tells you how helpless is a normal consumer against these shops.
