I am writing to formally complain regarding the fraudulent practices at Satnam Petrol Pump (IOAGPL CNG), Aligarh GT Road. On 05/03/2025 at 08:37 am, I visited the filling station to refill my Tata Punch CNG vehicle, which has a 9 kg CNG cylinder capacity. However, to my surprise, the fuel meter at the station displayed a reading of 10 kg, which is beyond the actual tank capacity of my vehicle.

This discrepancy strongly suggests meter tampering or fraudulent billing, which is unethical and unfair to consumers. I request your department to immediately investigate this matter and take appropriate legal action against the fuel station for misleading consumers and violating the legal metrology standards.
My Requests:
Inspection of the Fuel Dispensing System at Satnam Petrol Pump for accuracy.
Necessary legal action against the pump if meter tampering is found.
Compensation/refund for the excess amount charged.
Strict monitoring and penalties to prevent such fraudulent practices in the future.
