Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to raise a formal complaint regarding the delay in installation of an air conditioner purchased through Flipkart.
I purchased a TCL 2026 Model 1.5 Ton 3 Star Split Inverter AC on April 14, 2026, and the product was delivered on April 16, 2026. Along with the purchase, I also opted for the installation service provided by Flipkart.
As per the initial commitment, the installation was scheduled for April 17, 2026. However, no technician was assigned, and later the status was updated as “rescheduled” without any prior communication or consent from my side. I did not receive any call or update from either Flipkart or Jeeves regarding this change.
Since then, I have been repeatedly following up with Flipkart customer support, but no clear or proper information has been provided. I have only received generic responses stating that the technician will be assigned soon.
On April 23, 2026, I received a WhatsApp message from Jeeves stating that the installation was delayed due to the Tamil Nadu elections and would be completed within 48 hours, with a revised date of April 26, 2026. However, on April 26, I received another message stating that the installation would take longer than expected and would be completed by April 27, 2026.
As of today, no technician has been assigned, and the installation is still pending. Upon contacting Flipkart again, I was informed that the installation may now happen only on April 29, 2026. Additionally, my request to obtain Jeeves’ customer care contact details has not been fulfilled.
This continuous delay, lack of communication, and poor service have caused significant inconvenience.
I kindly request you to look into this matter and take necessary action to:
Ensure immediate installation of the AC
Address the service lapse and lack of communication
Provide appropriate compensation for the delay and inconvenience caused
I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.
