Never go to the agency ASIA Power. They gave me a call and went for the interview. I was offered a job in Saudi for an engineer. In the initial days they said that the placement is completely free. They demanded the Passport and I gave them. Then they started blackmailing me by saying that the passport will be withheld and will be given with offer letter only if I pay Rs. 80000 in cash. My salary offer was only Rs. 58000 [with free accommodation and food]. I got afraid and payed Rs. 40000 in cash. They did not accept any other mode of payment and refused to give ANY BILL or Voucher for my payments.
After 4 days I paid Rs. 40000 more. Then they gave my offer letter and passport. But did not process the attestation. Then I requested them to complete the formalities so that I could join the company. But they denied and demanded another 15000 which I had to pay. I got the documents after paying a total of 95000. When I reached Saudi, the company which hired me [Samsung] said that they are offering no accommodation, only food. I had to stay in the lodge in my cost for 1 month. When I called Asia Power, one Ms. Vidya shouted at me and said, "It is your headache". I had to discontinue the work and come back to India in 3rd month. All I lost is Rs. 95000 + other expenses for which I did not even get a bill.
Please do not go to ASIA POWER. THEY ARE THE BIGGEST FRAUDSTERS IN INDIA.
