[Resolved]  Career Park — Fraud done by consultancy in the name of job in Jindal Steel & Power Limited, Angul

I want to file my complaint against Career Park Consultancy located in Patna for the fraud done with me in the name of job interview in Jindal Steel & Power Limited, Angul.

I was contacted my Career Park Consultancy after they downloaded my CV from naukri.com. They told me that my CV was selected for job interview in Jindal Steel & Power Limited, Angul and as my CV is shortlisted by Jindal Steel & Power Limited, Angul, we are contacting you. In order to appear for the interview, I have to deposit an amount of Rs.525/- in their SBI account which would give me a benefit of applying up-to 5 companies and no other fees would be necessary. The details of the account was sent to me by a SMS over my mobile number is as follows:

After the deposition of the specified amount on 7th January, 2013, I was asked to mail the scanned copy of the slip provided by bank in respect to my deposition of Rs.525/- which was done on the same day itself. The mail-id on which the scanned copy of the deposit slip provided by bank was mailed is nehasen.[protected]@gmail.com. Now, they had to provide me a fee receipt slip as only then I would be eligible and recognized that I have come through this particular consultancy and if selected, Jindal Steel & Power Limited, Angul would pay them an amount same as my first salary which amounts to Rs.25000/- as specified. Now, when I asked for the fee receipt slip, they told that the slip would be mailed tomorrow, i.e. 8th January, 2013.

On 8th January, 2013, when I contacted them I was conveyed first the message in the first call that the interview has been postponed on 22nd January, 2013 and on questioning about the fee receipt slip, I was answered that it would be provided on 21st January, 2013 which makes no sense and I kept the phone. Then, again I called back and asked for the reason of postponing the interview in regard to which I was answered that the post has been filled and there would be no more interviews which contradicts the statement given by them in the first call on 8th January, 2013. Now, an offer for another interview was made for a company in Nagpur for the post of Site Engineer. But I was asked to deposit another Rs.525/- for it. On questioning about the amount and the offer about appearing in 5 companies in the already deposited Rs.525/- on 7th January, 2013, they denied it and said that it cannot be availed and to appear for the company in Nagpur I would have to pay another Rs.525/-. On asking for the slip of the previously deposited amount, it was denied saying that it cannot be fulfilled and would have to pay Rs.525/- if I want to appear for company in Nagpur. On informing them that they would have to face legal action, they replied that I should do whatever I want and hanged the call.
