Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue I have encountered
with the purchase of a John Deere tractor from Tomar Tractor, located at
Dibiyapur Bypass Road, Auriaya, Uttar Pradesh, India. I made the purchase on
[protected] and paid a total of 7, 75, 000 INR for the tractor, including 5, 00, 000
INR via NEFT and RTGS from my SBI savings account (document attached)
and 25, 000 INR in cash (no document provided by the dealer). I also traded in
my old Massey Ferguson tractor (UP 79E 7734) for 250, 000 INR (purchase
price as agreed by Tomar Tractor, no document provided).
To date, the tractor has not been registered and the dealer has not
provided any documents including the insurance etc. At the time of purchase the
dealer told me that the registration process will be completed within a week
time and subsequently I will hand over the registration as well as insurance
documents positively by 28 October 2022. After that, whenever we asked him,
he always make false promise to complete the registration process by this date
or that date. Initially for some period of time, the dealer was blaming RTO
Office Auraiya for not doing the registration for any tractor (The information
provided by dealer was absolutely false and the dealer was well aware and
simply fooling the customers). When I contacted RTO Office, Auraiya, it was
informed to me that the M/s. Tomar Tractor has not been registered in RTO
office for selling the tractors. Later on the when I had placed the fact about
working of RTO Office, Auraiya, the dealer accepted the fact that M/s Tomar
Tractors has not been registered in RTO Auraiya and mentioned that he is
completing the registration process in RTO office. On several occasions he
provided false commitments and blamed RTO Office for the delay to hide his
own blunders and inefficiency. Despite fully aware of the fact that there is issue
in his own company’s registration at RTO Auraiya, the dealer is selling the
tractors and cheating the innocent farmers on false assurances of registration
within one week of sale.
In this regard, when I have spoken with Mr. Pavan Gargi, Area Manager
at John Deere, about this issue, he informed me that he was aware of it for quite
some time. Despite this, he has continuously supported the wrongdoings of
Tomar Tractor. He is equally responsible for the wrongdoings of Tomar
Tractors and cheating the customers by hiding the fact information about the
registration process. When I contacted him on[protected] to ask about the
registration, he blamed the RTO Auraiya and informed me that the registration
would be completed by 20 December 2022. However, when I contacted him on
20 December 2022, he was unwilling to listen to my concerns and misbehaved,
warned me not to contact him again. Additionally he told that I have to only
speak with the dealer.
I request that John Deere takes strict action to ensure the
registration of my tractor by[protected]. If the dealer is unable to provide
the registration as well as insurance documents by this date, I request a full
refund of the paid amount with interest, along with my old Massey tractor,
by[protected]. Additionally, I request that John Deere takes back the
5050D tractor sold to me on false assurances. This is for necessary action
and strict compliance please.
All the necessary documents have been attached with this letter.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
My Contact Number - +[protected]
There is no action from dealer as well as from company managment. Dealer always make false commitment and JohnDeere Area Manager (Mr. Pavan Kumar Ghargi) is supporting in dealer's wrong doings.
