Jsw Mg Motor India Pvt Ltd — Service centre iseue

To Whom It May Concern,
I wish to raise a formal complaint regarding the poor after-sales service provided by the MG Navi Mumbai Service Centre and the broader concern of inadequate service infrastructure despite MG Motor's aggressive expansion of vehicle sales.
On 8 October 2026, I handed over my vehicle to the MG Navi Mumbai Service Centre for repairs. At the time of vehicle submission, I was clearly assured that the repairs would be completed and the vehicle would be delivered on 9 October 2026.
However, on the promised delivery date, I was informed that the repairs had not even been initiated. The reason cited by the service centre was manpower shortage. It is highly disappointing that since the vehicle was deposited on 8 October, it remained parked at the workshop without any repair work being undertaken.
This incident highlights a serious gap between MG's vehicle sales strategy and its after-sales service capabilities. While MG is rapidly opening multiple showrooms and launching new models, the company does not appear to have adequate service centres, trained technicians, or manpower to support customers who have already purchased their vehicles.
Customers invest significant amounts in purchasing vehicles with the expectation of timely service and repairs. Delays caused by internal resource shortages are unacceptable and result in inconvenience, loss of mobility, and erosion of customer confidence.
I request the concerned authorities to:
1. Investigate the service standards and capacity of MG service centres in Thane, and Navi Mumbai region.
2. Direct MG Motor to strengthen its service infrastructure, manpower, and workshop capacity before further expanding sales.
3. Impose appropriate penalties for confirmed delays in vehicle delivery arising from operational inefficiencies.
4. Establish service-level commitments and compensation mechanisms for customers affected by delayed repairs.
5. Review whether MG should be permitted to continue expanding vehicle sales in the region until adequate service facilities are made available to existing customers.
The automotive industry must maintain a balance between sales growth and customer support. Selling a growing number of vehicles without sufficient service capability adversely impacts consumers and should be addressed urgently.
I request immediate attention to this matter and appropriate corrective action.
Regards,
