AC scam in Tambaram ( chennai) using Just dial

Recently we shifted our house. The packers and movers did a good job in shifting. For installation of ac in our house we contacted just dial. Immediately a person named Saravanan ([protected]) contacted and said we will send the technicians immediately and you will be charged only rs 650 for installation. The two persons named Malik ([protected]) and Palani ([protected]) came and started the installation. After fixing in the roof, they said the gas pressure is low. They could've checked before fixing. But they didn't do that. After they said they need to buy gas cylinder and refill. For refilling the they asked as to stay away. While doing so we heard some noise. Which we took it lighter at that time. Then they blamed packers movers could've damaged your copper pipelines while shifting. They will speak in such a sweet manner so you would believe whatever they say. They said they will come back tomorrow to fix the issue. Since we started two times we filled the gas which was in vain. After welding also we to replace the gas so pay 6500, then only our owner then only we can leave. Tomorrow we will come and weld for you. We paid the amount to them directly. Then we followed up for oneweek and later saravanan said you've to deal with Malik. I assigned the work to him. The Malik said he will send another technician as he was not feeling well and also his owner seems to overcharging so, I will get my friend finish the work. They will corner you like no other choice. Later a technician came and opened the outdoor unit of the AC. We were literally shocked . There were multiple damages on multiple places. In some places the copper line was wide open. But the external body don't have a dent. Then the person said like each welding cost like 1500 and gas refilling, labour cost 800. Can I start the work. Here is trick they will say like two welding may needed. Once he completed the work he informed like 5 welding done and need to pay 8300 overall. He said he is asking for the work. After some argument we paid like 7500 and online left. Then I explained to my friend who knows about the field says 1 kg gas cost only 1000 rs which more than enough to fill three times and for welding including cleaning can be charged 2000 rs not more that. Then I repeatedly enquired the last technician and he accepted that I was in middle of a scam. The Malik will come and damage your AC, later he will come and fix it. They were doing it as business. So guys beware of these scams. Try to reach local technicians from the shops nearby, so that you can ask any questions at anytime. And also have a close look on what they doing. I literally wasted around 14K for an AC which has already working fine. So please be careful with this people.
