I posted this as a Google review in Apollo Clinic Salt Lake's Google Map's page, but they are consistently taking it down. So for peace of mind, I'm posting it here.

I find it is disturbing that Apollo Clinic Salt Lake is posting 5-star reviews every few minutes (sort their reviews by newest first, and you'll see what I mean), and writing 5-star reviews for some for their worst doctors, like Jyoti Ranjan Mahapatra. However, they are resorting to unethical methods to take down truthful reviews from the public. People who do not want honest reviews from the public perhaps SHOULD NOT sign up for public reviews.

I went to see Gastroenterologist Dr Jyoti Ranjan Mahapatra because my hemoglobin level was around 5 due to gastrointestinal bleeding. This guy took one look at my report and claimed that I had been drinking because my "Mean Corpuscular Volume" was a smidge above normal. As a teetotaler, I found his behavior to be outrageous and unprofessional. He was uncooperative, and his rash judgment not only displayed a lack o[censored]nderstanding but also raised serious concerns about his competence as a doctor. When I asked questions, he told me that he would answer my questions on the next visit. I'm only alive today because I went to another doctor who told me to go to the hospital immediately and get a blood transfusion.

Jyoti Ranjan Mahapatra was not only rude but also greedy and negligent, and his competency is questionable.
