On 28 august 2017 we visited kalyan jeweller karol bagh in order to purchase new diamond and gold jewelery with the option o[censored]sing exchange of our existing diamond jewelery of the same brand, which was purchased from dubai in january 2015. We were received well and after seeing all documents with us, the staff at kalyan jewelers arrived to some calculation of probable exchange value. They further offered us to give a better deal over and above what they proposed. On this understanding, we were shown purchasable ranges of diamond ear rings and gold bangles. When the estimate of our new selection vs probable value was shown to us, there was no better deal. We asked them to find out that since we were already losing 20% flat (Approx rs. 18, 000/-) on the purchase cost of diamond, if they could consider some possible concession of two to three thousand rupees.
After that the things turned ugly and we were denied information for reporting the incident to concerned profile. When we sought the name of branch manager, we were mislead and information was not given, until i called police on 100 and reported undue harassment. Was this information helpful? |
