I am writing to formally lodge a complaint against a travel agency named Kartavya Travel for their fraudulent practices, unprofessional behavior, and monetary exploitation during my 7-day tour booking.

Rate Agreed: ₹6, 000 per day for 7 days (₹42, 000 total)
Summary of Events:
I booked a 7-day trip covering Haridwar, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Auli, Rishikesh, and back to Haridwar.
After advance payment, the booking agent (Priyanka) stopped responding. The owner, Mr. Thakur, took over and handled things very rudely and unprofessionally.
Due to itinerary changes (communicated well in advance), we adjusted the route to include Mussoorie, Mana Gaon, Tehri Dam, and Vishal Badri.
I was unfairly charged an additional ₹5, 000 for these changes, even though they were minor or en route.
On Day 7, no sightseeing in Haridwar was provided, even though it was expected as part of the package. I was still charged ₹6, 000 for that day.
The driver displayed unprofessional behavior, was visibly unhappy as I had pre-booked hotels (denying them side income), and made repeated taunting remarks.
Total Monetary Loss:
₹5, 000 (unjustified extra charges)
₹6, 000 (wasted 7th day without any service)
Total Loss: ₹11, 000
Relief Sought:
A full refund of the ₹11, 000 charged unfairly along with mental harrasment compnesation 14k total will be 25k
Strict action against Kartavya Travel for misrepresentation, mental harassment, and violation of consumer rights
Blacklisting of the agency to prevent further exploitation of tourists
