I was traveling from nagpur to latur in khurana travels bus number mh 40 bl 1842 on 2 june. The bus left for latur at 8.30 pm. The driver directly stopped the bus at 1.30 a. M.in the night for food and washroom, i. E. After 5 hrs of beginning of journey. There was no privacy of toilets for females but a dark open space with dense bushes, garbages and drunk people around. And the ladies were supposed to pee there. When i complained to the driver about the condition, he rudely said u should carry your mobile torch.
There are thousands of decent food centers on the way with better washroom facilities for females. But he chose to stop the bus at such a place without proper toilet facilities for females. It is very shameful condition for this to happen in present day. The women of maharashtra deserve much more.
I will make sure that this matter gets noticed from higher authorities of ministry of transport and women's commission. Was this information helpful? |
