I came across an advertisement on Bhopu Bazaar claiming “95% OFF on cosmetics at wholesale prices”, aimed at people who wanted to start their own shop. Based on this advertisement, I visited Khushi Traders, also known as Akshay Traders, in East Azad Nagar, along with my sister. I was told that the shop is operated by a person named Vineet.

We purchased cosmetics worth approximately ₹10, 000 from them. After bringing the products to our shop and subsequently using some of the products ourselves, we noticed serious issues. Within two days, two customers who purchased products from us complained about skin problems. We also personally experienced skin-related problems after using some of the products.

Based on what we observed, we suspect that some of the products may be expired, counterfeit, or have their expiry/manufacturing information altered or reprinted. We noticed products where the original printing appeared to have been removed and replaced with new printing. These are serious concerns that, in our view, should be investigated by the appropriate authorities.

We contacted the seller regarding these issues and asked why such products had been supplied to us. During our communication, the person named Vineet allegedly used abusive language and threatened us.

We are also concerned about promotional content from Bhupu Bazaar and other YouTubers/influencers that, according to us, promotes or supports this business. We believe consumers should independently verify the products before purchasing them and should not rely solely on promotional videos.

The shop is located in the East Azad Nagar/Krishna Nagar area, near Sita Ram Chole Bhature, according to our experience. We are sharing this information because we do not want other shopkeepers or consumers to face the same situation.

We are considering taking legal action and approaching the appropriate consumer, police, and regulatory authorities so that the products can be properly investigated and tested.

Please verify everything independently before making any purchase. Keep your bills, payment records, product packaging, batch numbers, expiry details, photographs, and customer complaints as evidence.

This is our personal experience and our allegation based on what we observed. We request the relevant authorities to investigate the matter and take appropriate action if any wrongdoing is established.
