The seller provides online manifestation/coaching services priced at Rs. 30, 000. Initially, the service was promoted with a 90-day results-based refund policy, where customers were eligible for a full refund if no results were seen within 90 days of starting the service. However, by the time I signed up, this had changed to a strict "no-refund" policy.
It was clearly stated in their email communication that the service would only begin after the full payment of Rs. 30, 000 was made. Based on that condition, I made two partial payments Rs. 8, 000 on April 14 and Rs. 6, 000 on May 3 totaling Rs. 14, 000.
Before making the full payment, I encountered multiple reports and firsthand accounts from others claiming that the seller was denying refunds, blocking customers, and failing to provide services as promised. This raised serious concerns about the seller's integrity and transparency.
Upon realizing this, I contacted the seller and requested a refund, explaining that I was no longer in a position to continue and urgently needed the money due to my personal situation. I made this request before the service had officially begun, based on the mutually agreed condition that it would start only after the full payment was made.
Despite this, the seller refused to refund any amount and cited internal policies. I also offered to accept a reasonable deduction for reserving my slot, but my request was still denied. Meanwhile, the seller has reportedly refused refunds to other clients as well and blocks communication when challenged. Since then, the seller has deleted all their initial websites and social media channels and started new ones.
I am filing this complaint to request a partial or full refund of Rs. 14, 000, and to highlight what appears to be misleading advertising, unethical business practices, and potential violation of consumer rights. I request that the matter be thoroughly investigated and appropriate action be taken under the Consumer Protection Act.
