I am writing to bring to your attention the lack of supervision and timely medical care being provided to my mother, who is currently admitted at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital, Hari Nagar, Delhi.

She was admitted 13 days ago to the 3rd floor, Ward No-3, Bed No-27, with a damaged left hip bone. The doctors have advised a hip replacement surgery, and while all her medical reports are clear, no action has been taken so far. We have been repeatedly told that the operation will take place “next week” or “the week after, ” but no definite date has been provided.

Her condition is deteriorating due to persistent pain, and she has not been given any medication to manage it. This delay is causing immense physical and emotional distress to her and our family. I have small children at home and no one to look after them, which makes this situation even more difficult.

My sincere request is that the hospital administration kindly intervene and ensure that the surgery is conducted at the earliest. The necessary resources for treatment are available, and it is disheartening to see them go unused while patients continue to suffer.
