I, Karan Gupta, was associated with Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) as an insurance agent. I have already submitted my request for resignation/deactivation of my LIC agency/agent code.
However, my PAN is still showing as associated with an active insurance agent code on the IRDAI system, due to which I am unable to join another insurance broker/insurance organization.
I request IRDAI to kindly look into the matter and direct LIC to complete my agent code deactivation/cessation process and update the records linked with my PAN at the earliest.
My new employment/joining is being affected because of the active agency record. Therefore, I request that this matter may kindly be treated as URGENT.
