Let me ask this very clearly:
Did your team send any official email or notification acknowledging that my database was scheduled for deletion?
If no such intimation was provided, this act constitutes a clear violation of customer rights and data handling responsibilities, and may very well fall under the scope of criminal negligence or willful data destruction, as per relevant provisions under Indian IT and consumer protection laws.
This was not a test environment or temporary data — it was live, critical production data. No warning, no grace period, no confirmation, and no acknowledgment — just permanent deletion.
This leads to the following pressing questions:
Why was the database deleted without my authorisation?
Why was no formal communication or intimation sent before or after the deletion?
On what basis was this action taken, and who is accountable?
This situation is not only professionally unacceptable but also legally questionable. I request an immediate written response with clarification on this matter. If this remains unresolved, I will be compelled to explore formal legal recourse and escalate the matter to the appropriate regulatory and consumer redressal bodies.
