My mother was admitted in the hospital on 3th October 24. A week prior to confirm the admission as a token we were asked to pay Rs. 10000/- which we paid. We had an insurance policy who confirmed to us that the entire amount would be paid by them barring miniscual amount around Rs. 15000/-. However on 5th of October Hospital staff informed that Rs. 211600/- (Rs. Two lacs eleven thousand and six hundred) has to be paid by us which we paid. They mentioned this is taken in case the insurance does not approve the bill.
Next day the insurance confirmed of payment of the entire amount of the hospitalization barring Rs.15570/-. We asked them to adjust Rs.15570 against the amount of Rs. 211600 which we had paid the previous day which they did not agree and was very rude to my husband.
We take insurance because we do not have the capability of paying high amount to hospital and hospital takes advantage of the patients because they know they can do anything and say anything to them else they will not get discharge.
Inspite of insurance confirming the entire hospitalization expense will be paid, we have not yet got the refund amount. Hospital staff tells us that we shall get it after 2 months. We have to pay our credit card bill. Please help.

We have raised complaint to Hospital as well however no response on the complaint status.
