To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this complaint to formally bring to your notice the unfair, misleading, and unprofessional conduct of the company Livspace in relation to my home furnishing project.

Initially, Livspace representatives provided me with a quotation in the range of ₹2–3 lakhs for furnishing my 1 BHK apartment. Based on this representation, I agreed to proceed and paid an advance amount of ₹30, 000, after which the registration process was completed to initiate the work.

However, after receiving the advance and completing the registration, Livspace unilaterally revised the quotation to ₹5–6 lakhs, which is completely unreasonable and inconsistent with the earlier agreed estimate. When I questioned this drastic escalation and pointed out that the house is only a 1 BHK, the company representatives engaged in repeated arguments, changed their statements multiple times, and failed to provide any satisfactory justification.

Due to this misleading conduct, I clearly communicated that I did not wish to proceed with the revised quotation and requested that Livspace either:

Provide goods/services worth ₹30, 000, equivalent to the advance paid, or

Refund the advance amount in full.

Despite repeated follow-ups, Livspace has failed to respond, has stopped answering calls, and has not provided any resolution or refund. This behavior amounts to deficiency in service, misrepresentation, and unfair trade practice, causing me financial loss and mental harassment.

I have waited for a reasonable period for an amicable resolution, but due to the company’s continued non-responsiveness, I am now compelled to lodge this formal complaint and seek intervention.

I hereby request that necessary action be taken against Livspace and that I be granted an immediate refund of ₹30, 000, along with appropriate compensation as deemed fit under applicable consumer protection laws.

I am prepared to escalate this matter to the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and other appropriate legal authorities if the issue is not resolved promptly.
