This is regarding sound pollution in kestopur barowaritola (Kol: 102). I don't know if this is a fashion or not, but for each and every incident (Be it 15th august or holi, janmasthami or eid, 23rd jan or chat) mike/sound box set by some people/group and they tune it to intolerable maximum volume (All day, upto late night). And if there is no such festival, then local kali temple starts their own mikes, of course at maximum volume. This is a regular culture of kestopur.
Board exam is going on at present. Students are the worst affected due to disturbance in studies, lack of sleep and health issues. Even senior citizens are not spared. Hey don't obey minimum rules regarding maximum level of decibel and timing.. They just play sound box/ and set mikes at high
It is such a common phenomenon that it is hard to believe that authorities do not know the nuisance we are forced to tolerate day in day out.
