Lovely Professional University - Distance Education — This University is doing a big fraud with students.

I have taken admission in BCA-Lateral Entry (Direct Entry in 3rd Semester) in November 2023 as i have done diploma in mechanical engineering. they confirmed my documents and given me admission and allowed me to access their e-connect portal for online study. On[protected] i received a call from LPU - Distance Education department that UGC has changed the scheme and you are not permitted to give exam of 3rd semester (means my lateral entry scheme is cancelled) and I will have to start from 1st year. When I contacted them they say that we cant do anything UGC cancelled it. After 5 months just before 2 months of exam (June 2024) they are asking me to change my admission scheme. when i asked for refund they say that whatever i have paid as an fees out of that 600 inr will be deducted and rest will be refunded. They sent me a form to fill and told me after filling that form my amount will get refunded within 1 and half month, In that form it was written that i am willingly withdrawing my admission by myself and asking for refund, i asked them to given me in written how much amount i will be refunded, but they denied. They say that we cannot give anything in written only verbal communication will be done. i told them i cant trust you people anymore but still they forcing me to signed that form and send it to them. This is a big fraud done by this university that was not expected. they destroyed my 5 months study. Please help
