L&T has Power sub-station with Diesel DG set to supply back up power to L&T Seawood Nexus Mall in Seawoods Darave Rly stn in Nerul East, Navi Mumbai 400706. The Chimney of the DG set directly faces three Towers (D01 to D03) in L&T Seawood Residences North Tower 300 residential flats. The Chimney is shorter in height as compared to the Residential Towers, so the fume from DG set directly enters the flat in Tower D01 and D02.
Complaint to L&T Reality Mgt for increasing height of chimney or make alternative arrangements did not yield result
Request MPCB to pursue L&T to make alternative arrangement or use non -polluting fuel like gas to run DG set
