Lyca Mobile has taken Rs. 16, 109.31 from my HDFC Regalia credit card ending 9248 in recurring monthly charges since June 2026 on my number[protected], without any order from me and after I asked for the service to stop.
I sent Lyca a formal complaint and letter before action on 13 Oct 2026 to [protected]@lycamobile.co.uk. Their own refund policy promises an outcome within 7 working days, so that is due by 22 Oct 2026. Nothing has come back yet.
HDFC Bank has two chargeback cases open on these charges, [protected] and [protected], with new references [protected] and [protected]. The bank has already acknowledged them.
If Lyca does not cancel the service and refund the full amount by 22 Oct 2026 I will go to the Financial Ombudsman Service in the United Kingdom, which takes complaints from customers outside the UK, and to the RBI Ombudsman against the bank. Was this information helpful? |
