On 30 August 2014, Rahul Bokadia a sales representative - showed me a laptop sealed boxed having a label saying 2.4 Ghz processor and took Rs 1000 in advance before opening the packing... he took 4 hours installing the OS and made me tired sitting at his place.
The next day when I saw the properties of the laptop - it says 1.5 Ghz only ... when I contacted the Asus company they also said the laptop is genuine on the serial no provided.
Fraud he did - he said he is giving me 2.4 Ghz processor laptop in 20K & showed a fake sticker saying the same on the sealed laptop, and for product registration reasons he took the boxed he showed me with him, where else actually he had just a fake sticker with genuine serial no. Just to show me that the laptop is of 2.4 Ghz, which was actually a 1.5Ghz laptop only.
My Mistake & Problem - I didnt get the idea why he needs the box for product registeration and gave away the only proof which I could showed in the court. The bill he gave says the real serial no. of a genuine low configured laptop. My mistake was that I should have checked the My Computer properties when he had finished installing the OS, I didnt checked it bcoz I was tired after sitting for 4 to 5 hours at his shop for which he got advantage & also he took away the box - which was the only proof of the fraud.
